The submerged resistances system we developed allows a higher heating transfer to the liquid aluminum thank to the direct immersion of the resistances into the broth. That is gotten due the use of SIC resistance specially designed for this purpose. It is recover in a nitride of silicon case (huge mechanic resistance material) exclusively made for these resistances which allows a high protection against splashes and banging while cleaning the furnace.
